We demoed the bathroom to open the floor plan and enlarge the kitchen and moved it to a new location on the same floor, removed the center wall that was supporting the second floor and roof and replaced it with a steel flush beam, again to create an open floor plan, and also opened up all the openings on the first floor. To achieve all this upstairs, we needed to first properly support an undersized improperly supported steel beam with new footings, new steel columns.
